Thank you for your interest in hosting an event at the Miles Memorial Playhouse!
The Miles is excited to welcome proposals from nonprofits, individual artists, and from the larger community!
We will prioritize proposals from federally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofits and individual artists based on the following criteria:
Criteria
- Sufficient staffing and organization to meet established facility use guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to translate vision into physical reality
- Developed marketing plan with adequate budget to secure attendees
- Company and programming in alignment with the City's established strategic priorities and justice, equity, and diversity commitment
Artists Impacted by Los Angeles Wildfires
Our priority is to provide stability for Los Angeles County artists/arts organizations experiencing immediate hardship due to the fires.
In response to the devasting Palisades and Eaton fires, and the significant financial hardships caused by this federally recognized "qualified disaster," we will also be prioritizing nonprofits and/or artists:
- who have lost their homes or artmaking spaces
- whose homes or artmaking spaces have severe damage
- who have lack or limited access to their home, artmaking spaces, or both
Facility Guidelines
Please ensure you have reviewed the facility use guidelines in their entirety before submitting your proposal. If you have not, please return to the Miles webpage.
